Installation Documentation: Family Home

Project Overview

This project was created for a graduating student to document and present their final installation work through a professional portfolio. The aim was to capture the installation in a way that reflected both its conceptual meaning and visual impact while creating a cohesive collection of images suitable for exhibitions, portfolios, and online presentation.

Challenge

The installation explored themes of family, memory, and nostalgia, requiring photography that balanced accurate documentation with emotional storytelling. It was important to create images that clearly showcased the work while preserving the atmosphere and intention behind the project.

My Role

I planned and directed the photoshoot, producing high-quality installation photography, detail shots, and clean product-style images on a white background. I also photographed the user experience and interactions with the installation, using a variety of lighting setups to evoke the nostalgic atmosphere of a family home while ensuring the work remained professionally documented.
