Project Overview
Homage to Painting is a conceptual photoshoot exploring how the qualities of traditional painting can be recreated through photography. Inspired by classical artworks, the project focuses on composition, colour, lighting, and texture to blur the boundaries between the two mediums.
Challenge
The challenge was to create photographs that captured the atmosphere and visual language of paintings while remaining distinctly photographic.
My Role
I developed the concept, art directed the shoot, and photographed the final images. I carefully planned the lighting, styling, and composition to achieve a painterly aesthetic inspired by traditional artworks.
